Call for Films at the Workhaus

This is an unique opportunity to show and view independent productions as part of the 1999 Liverpool Biennial. The Workhouse will be showcasing the creative talents of independent film makers in Britain today. Whether it's a 120 minute feature or a 30 second experimental animation we want to show it.

Last year the THE NORTH BY NORTHWEST Film Festival showed over 500 films to an audience of 4,000 people. With the arrival of digital multi media there is at present an avalanche of scintillating audio-visual material being produced. North by Northwest celebrates this new wave of independent film making by presenting the best of the cutting edge.
