You have to be creative to get by in Liverpool.
It's not too surprising that during the Punk phenomenon a club in Liverpool would be the destination of some of the more creative bands during that time, the audience was ready, and in all fairness had a head start in understanding "a big bag of dead hard to understand things". Anyway it closed, then there were marches through the city, which the good people at Socialist Worker had the presence of mind to record for history. After that I can only assume the audience was hooked by the evolving video, audio, computer graphics and media recording technologies, because somehow that creativity has manifested itself once again. A recent Sky News report claims that 80 percent of computer game graphics for the Japanese market are produced within a 30 mile radius of Liverpool.

Then, for a while The Workhaus was the creative hub of the visual arts in Liverpool. This is where the story continued, for a while anyway.
