Probable Company Origins:
There is one reference still on the web that certainly appears to give the "Town-Index Ltd" name
a legitimate origin, though like most concerned, this apparently decent, well-managed, company
with equally impeccable credentials will have no idea what became of the company they may once
have worked with, or how any association with a company with such a name currently, may also
harm their image. Here, the opportunity arises to make a fundamentally simple point,
and if they'll excuse me using them to make it, Howescomms will serve as an example.
The more respectable, legitimate, and trustworthy any hyperlinked site is, the less it has been informed about this low value, disreputable scheme. The HowesComms web site facts:
In this case, the company clearly published it's own details of the previous partnership with another company, that may by now have changed beyond all recognition, but before bringing them up-to-date, (and I'm sure they agree) there are at least two more urgent causes for concern that take priority.
