Stop-motion animation and special FX.
First Test Clip:
Which showed us what we are going to need for lighting, and
how careful we are going to have to be to keep the rig still.
I'm going to have to find (rip?) some better audio samples, but
for now this (680K) clip demonstrates how the final movie is going to look.
Second Test Clip: Video FX
A cool special effect. A well intentioned minifig over-tightens a pipe and causes a minor
industrial accident.
There's no audio on this 345K clip.
Another Video FX clip :
Minifigs really have no sense of danger. If you hit those big white tanks hard enough, they're
going explode. Observe this 290K explanation. (No audio.)
Sound FX clip :
Three frames of animation brought to life by the addition of radio traffic samples... Over.
View this 706K mpeg... Over.
Another Explosion :
Needless to say, if you're going to hit the flare arm like that, you're going to get burned.
This 340K clip uses the same explosion, but this time it travels away from the ignition point.
...and if you want to blow up your own models.
Here's the explosion layer as a high (enough) quality
410K mpeg
on a blue background.
