Ed's Lego Projects.

Ed's been busy with a couple of projects lately, with a little help from his dad who gets opportunities to chip in with helpful suggestions and advice like: "You don't want to do it like that...".
The robot is the result of a visit to the MindStorms site where the instructions and program can be downloaded.
The oil-rig began as an experiment with girder structures and just kept getting bigger, then the idea of using it as a movie set for a stop-motion animation popped up.
Then the great "fat-arsed dad walking backwards" oil-rig disaster of 2001 happened, (which would've actually looked quite cool in slow-motion) so now we're going to have to build a different movie set.
"Lights, camera, minifig auditions for the leading role...."
