It finally happened. A friend of the family got full-access web TV and now
I'm concerned about how my pages appear.
If you want some idea of the web TV browser's effect on font sizes and links have a look this
44K screenshot of an old chipwork.com homepage, then you might
want to download a free WebTV Viewer to test your
own pages on.
There isn't much difference from typical web page construction except:
- HTML is limited to version 3
- Less room for text because font sizes get increased.
- No right-scrolling.
My personal opinion? Having experienced only limited access UK WebTV, I have to say it's a giant leap
sideways into the unknown. I'll probably never actually use it but I appreciate that
eventually millions will use it as their primary method of net access.
