APIC Mode Good or bad?
There appears to be ongoing debate regarding the usefulness of APIC mode. Deciding to enable or disable
this BIOS setting (ie: reversing it's current state) will require a full Widows re-install.
Familiarity with the state of the debate should be achieved via a reasonable amount (lots?) of Google research before
deciding if your system runs best with or without enabling it.

Paintshop Pro 7 Recent Files List :
Open the registry and find:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \
CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer \ NoRecentDocsHistory
If the key value of NoRecentDocsHistory = 1, the program will not display
recent files in the "File" menu. A value of 0 (zero) will enable the list again.
